CGx Ceiling Air Outlet HEPA FILTER DIFFUSORS

Description

As the last filter level, the ceiling air diffusers CGF/CGG with integrated HEPA filter fulfills the function of the highly effective separation of particle shaped contaminants of all types including microorganisms. CGO without HEPA filter is designed for extraction or exhaust of polluted air from a clean room.
  • Used in pharmaceutical industry, laboratories, hospitals, microbiology, electronic industry, and food industry
  • Easy integration in all types of FläktGroup suspended ceilings
  • Filter classes H13 to U15 in an aluminum frame, with dry or fluid seal
  • For turbulent displacement flow
  • Integrated pressure-gauge connection for monitoring pressure drop
  • Tube for applying test aerosol (measuring of concentration)

Product information

  • 4 casing sizes (318, 470, 587, 623)
  • The welded casing with wall thickness of 1.5 mm painted in RAL 9010
  • Intended for HEPA filters with the overall depth 78 mm
  • Vertical or horizontal air supply inlet
  • Round or rectangular duct connection with optional shut-off flap integration
  • Fittings for differential pressure measurement or applying test aerosol (concentration measurement)
  • Probe for checking the airtight fit of the U-profile seal
  •

CGx air diffusers for ceiling installation with integrated HEPA filters operate as the last filter stage in efficient filtration of particle-shaped air pollutants of all types, including microorganisms.

There are available 3 basic CGx models:

  • CGF – equipped with a filter with a semi-rounded polyurethane gasket and 2 measuring tubes (1st for airtight fit of a filter with U-shaped gasket, 2nd for measuring pressure drop or for aerosol concentration test)
  • CGG – equipped with a filter with gel gasket and 1 tube for measuring pressure drop or for aerosol concentration test
  • CGO – without a filter and measuring tubes

The casing is welded, with wall thickness of 1.5 mm painted in RAL 9010. There are available 4 casing sizes [mm]:

  • 318 x 318, for filter size 305/305/78-90 mm, duct connection: round 160 mm / rectangular 200 x 100 mm (vertical or horizontal)
  • 470 x 470, for filter size 457/457/78-90 mm, duct connection: round 200 mm / rectangular 335 x 100 mm (vertical or horizontal)
  • 587 x 587, for filter size 575/575/78-90 mm, duct connection: round 250 mm / rectangular 500 x 100 mm (vertical or horizontal)
  • 623 x 623, for filter size 610/610/78-90 mm, duct connection: round 250 mm / rectangular 500 x 100 mm (vertical or horizontal)

The shut-off flap (damper) integration in a connector:

  • shut-off flap is made of sheet steel, integrated in the duct connection fittings, enables a filter replacement without stopping the air handling unit
  • without shut off-flap

The outlets (face panels) in RAL 9010 are attached to the filtration unit body via four screws situated in the corners (except ADQ type). The outlets are available in 5 versions of design:

  • A/C/D – Twisting airflow outlet with fixed air routing elements (A – diffused/whirl flow, C – direct flow in two directions, D – direct flow in one direction)
  • ADQ – Discharge on four sides
  • S – Twisting airflow outlet with adjustable air routing elements
  • D22/D40 – Perforated steel plate (D22 – with 22% free surface area, D40 – with 40% free surface area)
  • NOZ – With adjustable air nozzles

There are available following installation options:

  • in LS light ceiling (clip-in) – casing in basic version, LS-cassette with an opening to be riveted on site.
  • in KS, KSH cassette ceiling – casing with peripheral L-ledges (to be riveted on-site). Unit installation onto the grid from above.
  • in RS panel ceiling – with peripheral 60 mm wide frame to cover the cutout in a ceiling panel (30 mm wide frame for request). Unit installation from below.

Filters offer includes filters in an aluminum frame:

  • H13
  • H14
  • U15

All filters are available with following gaskets:

  • semicircular polyurethane gasket for CGF, filter height 78 mm
  • gel gasket for CGG, filter height 80 mm
  • other gaskets on request, in special situations filter height up to 90 mm

Outlets

The face panels are attached to the filtration unit body via four screws situated in the corners (except ADQ type). The outlets are available in 5 versions of design: A/C/D – Twisting airflow outlet with fixed air routing elements; ADQ – Discharge on four sides; S – Twisting airflow outlet with adjustable air routing elements; D22/D40 – Perforated steel plate; NOZ - With adjustable air nozzles.

Filters

Filtration units are equipped with HEPA filters of class H13, H14 or U15 available in two versions of sealing: polyurethane (CGF) or gel (CGG). Frame is made of extruded aluminum, while the filter media is protected against damages by a steel epoxy varnished mesh situated at the pure side.

Measuring tubes (hoses)

CGF is equipped with two measurement hoses. The first hose (1) serves two purposes: measurement of pressure drop on the filter (clogging) and application of test aerosol (measuring concentration). The second hose (2) is used to check air-tight fit of a filter with U-shaped gasket.

Shut-off flap

Filtration units can be equipped with a manually operated shut-off flap, which is possible to be operated from the room side (after air outlet removal). With the flap closed, filter replacement can be conducted without interrupting the operation of the air handling unit.
